Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature[a] God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature[b] of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2 v 5-11

Hospitality

God gives each of us different gifts and abilities. I admire those who are able to utilise the gift of hospitality to connect with people and serve God’s Kingdom. In a number of cultures around the world, being hospitable is a normal part of their daily life. They are keen to serve others in a very simple way even if many of these people are very poor.

I am constantly thinking how I can use the gifts God has given me to further God’s kingdom whether here in Australia or overseas.

Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat upon them,
nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd;
he will lead them to springs of living water.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
